The food here was top notch. Tasted very fresh - very flavorful- solid chips and salsa. Very well priced. Cold beer and great staff. My favorite choice on this part of town!

    Food good. Service was horrible.
Waiter-Mario-didn't check in with us during our meals and didn't refill our water the entire time there.
As soon as we finished our meals, the waiter gave us our check, and didn't ask if we wanted anything else.
Too bad, we really wanted to like it here.

Our waiter was friendly and attentive, our margaritas were very strong. Our chips tasted stale, which was the only point of our visit that was truly awful. They did bring a second bowl of chips out but they also tasted stale, however they were warm. My steak tacos were bland but filling.. I know I have been spoiled at other restaurants so this is definitely not on my go to list.

For me this is a staple of south side Mexican food. I've gone here for years and while it's sometimes hit or miss I have to say it's mostly been hit for me. Good cheap Mexican food and strong margaritas.

I'd highly recommend skipping the Queso dip.  Lacks flavor and is really only melted cheese.
The salsa is fabulous! The also offer fresh guacamole made at your table.
I wasn't very hungry when we arrived so I opted to have a side order of rice and beans. Was highly surprised at the portion size!
The spouse went with the fish tacos and he stated they were some of the best fish tacos he ever had. His plate came with fresh Pico, which I stole for my beans...yummy!
